AIIA Line, 40 m² modular home: modular home with a pitched roof and covered terrace, installed on its plot

Regulations, land and installation

Before ordering, three questions always come up: do I need a permit? Is my plot suitable? How does installation work? Here are concrete answers.

To be provided: page author and date of last update

Question 1

Building permit or prior declaration?

It depends on the floor area and on how long the home stays in place. Below certain thresholds, a prior declaration is enough; above them, a building permit is required.

The planning department of your town hall confirms which procedure applies. Service-Public.fr details the floor-area thresholds.
